Decent Phone For The Price,
I was getting sick of paying high cell phone bills with verizon so I decided to go prepaid and didn’t know what to choose and everyone was telling me to get straighttalk so I went with that. At the time this was the best phone they had available in the store and Id never had a phone that had a keyboard so I bought this one. Heres my pros and cons list
PROS
1. Made of great quality, you cant really go wrong with samsung, Ive dropped this a million times and it still works
2. Comes with 1.3 megapixel camera and a full qwerty keyboard, which I love, makes texting and surfing the web much easier.
3. Comes with mp3 player, and a sound or voice recorder, and you can make the sounds you recorded into your ringtone, which is helpful to me because I can just record a song I want for a ringtone instead of paying 3 to 5 bucks for one.
4. The straight talk plan itself I think is great, I get the cheapest one, the $30 dollar one, for 1000 messages 1000 texts, and a bunch of internet time, not sure exactly how much but Ive never went over the limit and I use the internet quite a lot.
5. The reception is pretty good, when Im at work and am in the bathroom I get online sometimes with this phone, and with my old phone, which was verizon, I couldnt get reception there, but with this phone I can, even if it kinda goes in and out, but everywhere else I havent had any problems.
CONS
1. When you get online you can see some pictures, but theyre not very clear and some pictures it just cant load, some sites it wont load at all, and it cant play or record videos, I tried to go to youtube and no joke it the phone says “Oops, this site has some kind of space age technology we can not handle” or something like that IM NOT MAKING THIS UP.
2. Sometimes when I stick this phone in my pocket it bumps against the camera button before the keyboard can lock back up, so Ill be walking around and I hear a sound of a camera taking a picture, and realize ive taken like 5 pictures of the inside of my pocket..ugh so annoying.
3. NO GAMES….Im like a child I need my games, and this phone has no games feature…you cant play online games either
4. Although it does have a camera its only 1.3 megapixel which means it sucks and theres no zoom feature either.
5. When you get on the internet it really drains the battery, very fast, but I guess thats with any phone, its annoying though.
So all in all, I give this phone 4 out of 5. Im glad I bought it and although it is not without its faults, it works for what I need it for. So if you dont want to pay like 200 dollars or more for a smartphone but still want a phone with some pretty cool features. Try this one

|Not bad for the price,
Someone bought me this phone after I found myself in an emergency situation with no way of reaching anyone. I’ve had it ever since (over a year now) and for the most part, I love it. I was a bit disappointed at first that it doesn’t have any games, but I’m still able to check my email and Facebook, so I can’t complain too much. I always buy the $45 unlimited plans, and it’s definitely worth it. I seriously don’t miss having a contract, paying an outrageous monthly bill, or having to pay fees for every little thing.
Some things I would change about this phone:
1. I take a lot of pictures, and I haven’t found a way yet to copy them all to my SD card at the same time.
2. The battery seems to run down quickly if the phone is used for internet or MMS messaging.
3. If you have to go to the website to buy media, then don’t put a tease link on the phone.
4. If you can’t download media to the phone, don’t make me have to go to the website to find out.
Things I really like about this phone:
1. Durability. I have dropped this thing on concrete and in the snow. I have inadvertently thrown it across the room, spilled large amounts of liquid on it, and even let my daughter chew on it, and it still functions with barely a scratch!!!
2. I haven’t gotten an error yet that the memory is full from too many pictures, and I have 100+.
3. I can check my email and facebook, plus search google in a hurry
4. Calendar appointments help me out on days when I forget what day it is
5. Good alarm clock
6. If I never cleared the list, this thing would probably keep a record of all my calls from the day I first used it.
